Historic building converted into a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in a fabulous setting
The Stables is a sympathetically converted Suffolk Red Brick country house with clock tower. All of the stunning bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the bedrooms and bathrooms are large and airy with oak beams and vaulted ceilings. There is a great sense of space in the building and in the setting and yet the accommodation is warm and homely, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day walking around the Park or along the Sunrise Coast.
The setting could not be more tranquil and secluded with views as far as the eye can see of parkland, ancient trees and woodland and the resident horses, sheep and cows.
Book with us and enjoy lavish breakfasts with local produce and fresh ingredients. Healthy and alternative options are on offer each day along with the traditional full English. Vegetarian breakfasts are also available. On arrival enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee as you take in the view and then relax in the comfort of your room or start to explore the 800 acres of private park land and woodland: - you are unlikely to see another soul during your wanderings.
The Stables and Henham Park as a whole has a rich history dating back at least 260 years.
The Stables offers perfect accommodation for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, nature lovers, artists, writers, couples looking for a romantic hideaway, families and anyone looking for tranquility, beauty and comfort. We also have facilities for business travellers including a desk in each room, a meeting room available, early breakfasts and free wi–fi.
